What People Say to Me

We had a great time out on the water with Joe as part of a 30th birthday trip. He has so much equipment and his level of expertise and knowledge of the local area and kayaking made it an excellent experience and we came away having learned so much! Special thanks for his performance after once of us capsized - he was really calm and looked after us well! Would recommend and will definitely be going back out with him if we 're ever back in Islay!

Just the best morning out on the water - Joe is a kind and patient teacher and an expert at kayaking so amazing to hear his tales of kayaking in Greenland and around the whole of Islay in 27hrs for charity. Felt totally safe in his hands plus he is so passionate about kayaking that it makes me want to learn more. He took me out to a fab seal colony who came very close to our kayaks for a nosey. The midway cup of tea was also very welcome. Can’t recommend him enough - do it !

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Islay! Joe was very friendly, responsive and an all round pleasure to meet. He has great knowledge of the local wildlife and environment and really adapts the tours for your interests and different levels of experience. And we got to see a colony of seals! It was a very special experience - we loved the trip and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the island.
