This will be for the more experienced/adventurous paddler where the trip length could be extended and into more challenging waters including tide races to more exposed shorelines. This may also take the form of a multiday trip.

As with the bespoke trips this will be the clients choice where it is safe to do so, as the weather around the Isle of Islay and the west coast of Scotland can be unpredictable, abilities and capabilities will be assessed prior to entering these areas of more challenging water.

Bespoke Trips

These are designed by you “the client” we would rather give you an experience which is driven by you rather than us taking you on a journey not of your choosing, this will be done where it is safe to do as the weather around the Isle of Islay and the west coast of Scotland can be unpredictable at times in which it can change by the hour.

A paddle to a chosen distillery for a distillery tour to finish off the trip, this is just an example of something we can offer, we would alter the start and finish point and arrange with the distillery in advance. In the summer months this could take on the form of a sunset paddle, what better way to enjoy an excursion on the water to
watch the sunset.

A photography trip to capture the wildlife from a kayak which allows you to get different views and into locations only kayaks can go, this requires a bit more experience in a kayak. The list could be endless, it’s your imagination that sets the boundaries and we are happy to advise what can be delivered.

First Aid Training

Our training team consists of paramedics who have a wealth of accident and emergency experience who carry out the First Aid Training, in total we have around a combined 70 years of exposure in dealing with accident & emergency calls. There is not much we have not dealt with in this time and we can bring that reality to the training environment.

For our clients, we are also happy to undertake a bespoke training session working with your Health & Safety department post training, to run scenarios to build team confidence out with the training room. This type of training looks at your working practices and identifies the type of injuries that you are more likely to come across. We can also review any previous incidents and run scenarios based on them to look at your management of that incident with the aim to develop good practice and team building.

The First Aid at Work and Paediatric courses are certified as well as the stand alone one which includes CPR & Defibrillation. The training supplied is quality assured with internal assessors reviewing each course, an external assessor will sample around 40% of courses to ensure we are meeting standards set out by the awarding body.

We can deliver the following courses and also tailor the training to suit your needs while meeting the criteria for each award.
